Interpretation & realisation
When the image is agreed, a detailed flooring design is created on computer. This specifies the Polyflor material and colours, as well as the shape and dimensions of every element of the design. When our interpretation is complete, drawings are despatched for approval or amendment.
Polyflor use one of the world's most advanced computerised waterjet cutting machines to transform the design into a flooring 'jigsaw', with astonishing precision. The water pressure at the cutter head is 60,000 psi, slicing cleanly through flooring material to an accuracy of +/-0.1mm.
